Happy Birthday Abby!!!
Abby's birthday was the 23rd, but we celebrated it on the 24th. She turned 4!! She has been waiting for this day for a very long time! When we were in SLC last weekend, we went to grandpa and grandma Carroll's Abby was able to reach in the 'money bag' of grandpa Carroll's and she got almost $3.00. She also got an adorable puzzle book, and sticker book! She loves it.

This is the tea set grandpa roy and grandma sally bought her.

If I can stop laughing long enough to share this story with you I am sure you will love it as much as I did. Sunday morning we were all getting ready for church. Those of you who know me know I hate to be late. I have to get a side bench so I can contain the kids easier. But anyway, we were running a few minutes late, I was starting to freak a little, trying to get everyone to hurry faster. THEN.........I look over at Brian and see this... I could not stop laughing. This is what you get when you try to sneak one of the kids go-gurts for breakfast really fast!!!! (still giggling a lot)

Count your many Blessings

Ok so we went to our family reunion in Bountiful this past weekend. And right across the street were these gorgeous houses. I was thinking wow each kid could have their own wing, my house would be so quiet!!!!!!! Then I started daydreaming...... the maids..... the personal chefs...... the drivers...... I am sure we have all done it. But then at church the next morning the opening song was count your many blessings!! Well that put me in my place pretty quick. And in the end, I am so grateful for my family, my kids, my modest and slightly dirty home. And I just really hope I get my mansion on high!!

but they are still nice to look at :)

crofts family reunion

Ok so this is some highlights of our yearly Crofts family reunion in Orderville Ut. There were some very memerable moments this year. Here are just some highlights of the fun we had. This is the kids waiting to be hit with water balloons. That is Joey and Alli in 2 of the green shirts. (all my parents grandkids had the same colored shirt.)
And here are the men flinging the water balloons at the kids. sounds like fun huh, and a great stress reliever.

This was the craft project I was in charge of. We stenciled on some cute little bags.

This is the men cooking the food. Thats my cute daddy in the middle.

And this was a HUGE hit this year. The family had arranged for this train to come and take the kids for rides during the reunion. I think my kids each rode it 3 times~ how cute is this train!!!!
Anyway we had a great reunion this year, but it is sooooo great to be back home.

like father like son!!
As parents we always worry that we will pass on the bad things to our kids. I know that I have prayed that my kids won't get my funny middle toe, but now it is painfully obvious that Jason has inhereted his "shoe "style from his dad. There is no denying it now. At least he has my sense of humor :)

What was I thinking????????

Ok so when I married my wonderful husband I had a lot of revamping to do on his wardrobe. which I did. All of the parachute pants were tossed, and the oh so favored 7th grade swimsuit that he loved to wear with his combat boots secretley made its way to the local dump. I was a good little wife, and replaced it all with more appropriate and fashionable wardrobe. But every once in a while a blast from the past works its way back. We have been doing a lot of swimming this summer, and the last time we took Brian with us he wore tennis shoes, who wears tennis shoes to the pool. So for fathers day I found these great sandles. I told him we can now go to the pool and he can fit in. Then he did THIS!!!! What socks with sandles! What are you thinking? Oh my. Well I did what I could, I guess this is as good as it gets. xoxoxo love ya B

Happy 4th of July!!!!!!

Well I was feeling just a bit sorry for myself, because my sister and brothers birthday is July 4th and although I haven't seen by cute bro in a while( he lives on the other side of Idaho) I have always spent my sisters birthday with her. This year however I could not. (Iknow it brings tears to the eyes)So to make myself feel better, I made homemade donuts, and homemade chocolate ice cream. (I had a pic of the ice cream, a big blob of chocolate ice cream didn't look like chocolate ice cream in the pic) And these comfort foods helped me feel much better about having to stay home on the 4th. So HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my bro and sis I love ya yummy homemade donuts we were able to share with our new neighbors!! they had lots of
snow (aka sugar) on them. mmmm mmmmm good
Abby showing off how much she liked the chocolate Ice cream!

me and my monkey. I swear he doesn't know how to keep his tongue in his mouth during a pic. This is one of those I don't have any pics of me so I will take one myself moments. not too bad i guess.

Joey who was our self nominated firework lighter. He had a great time.

Alli and Zach showing off their 4th shirts. pretty cute guys.

Not so freak rain storm

Its no secreat that this has been a crazy wet summer. Friday night the kids decided to go outside during the storm and jump on the trampoline. They are crazy, but they had fun!!!!
Here is Alli heading in after her outside shower. Zach and Joey after their drenching! Nothing as entertaining as a rainstorm.
